Olympic Firestone

This painting shows two very desirable ’32 Fords parked in front of an old Firestone store once located on Olympic Boulevard in LA. The sign on the delivery promotes the new “Firestone air balloon tires air balloon wheels”’ and the delivery is shod with these now exceedingly rare and highly sought after air balloon wheels. The Firestone employee shown unloading an air balloon wheel from the back of the delivery may familiar to hot rodders – he is none other than inveterate car collector Bob Everts, owner of these two 32’s and many, many more interesting old cars!
